Liverpool 's interest in Brazilian prospect Talles Magno is reportedly hotting up, with the Reds the first club to make an official move for the teenager.
Magno is also the subject of interest from clubs in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal but Liverpool are in pole position to secure his signature, according to reports from the Brazilian media.
His current club Vasco da Gama are said to be in the midst of a major financial crisis, exacerbated by the effects of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and they may be forced to sell Magno as a result.
He is understood to have a release clause in the region of €50m (£44m) but Vasco were said to be willing to accept bids of around €30m (£26m).
