We’ll be seeing actor Kingsley Ben-Adir (“One Night In Miami“) taking on the role of legendary Reggae singer Bob Marley in a new biopic film at Paramount Pictures that is being helmed by “King Richard” director Reinaldo Marcus Green. The combination of director and actor gives the impression that it could end up becoming a festival/awards darling as another impressive addition to the cast has been announced.

‘Scream’ Sequel, Bob Marley Biopic Get Release Dates

Brent Lang Executive Editor of Film and MediaGhostface will strike again.The Woodsboro Killer will return in another, as yet untitled, entry in the “Scream” franchise on March 31, 2023. It appears to have that date to itself, but it will have to contend with the second weekend of “John Wick: Chapter 4.” Paramount and Spyglass Media produced the film and the most recent sequel, which served as a reboot of sorts.

Kingsley Ben-Adir To Star In Bob Marley Biopic

Bob Marley.Kingsley Ben-Adir – who starred as Malcolm X in Regina King’s One Night In Miami – was chosen to portray Marley in this film that will focus on the reggae legend’s life and music career. Prior to his untimely death in 1981 at the age of 36, Marley left an amazing legacy, and gifted the world with songs such as “Could You Be Loved,” “Get Up, Stand Up,” and “One Love.”Reinaldo Marcus, director of the Oscar-nominated film King Richard, is set to direct Paramount’s biopic, and Zach Baylin holds the responsibility of writing the script.
