Liverpool are prepared to make a strong move to lure 17-year-old Talles Magno to Merseyside from Brazil. The teenage forward has caught the Reds’ attention at Vasco da Gama, as well as other European teams.
Benfica are rivalling Liverpool for Magno’s signature ahead of the summer transfer window. Additionally, Ligue 1 outfit Lyon and La Liga side Sevilla had hoped to be in contention to sign the Under-17 World Cup winner.
But it is the Portuguese giants who are Liverpool’s biggest threat in the race to land Brazil youth Magno. Benfica have already made an offer of £2.6m to gain priority over the signing in a bid to see off competition for the young talent’s services.
