Run The World castmates spoke out on her exit from the hit Starz show for the first time. Bresha Webb, Corbin Reid, and Amber Stevens West spoke with ESSENCE while attending Peacock’s Bel-Air premiere event, and showed their support for their former castmate. Last weekend, news broke that Bordeaux was asked to leave the show after no resolution could be reached between the actress and Lionsgate, Run The World‘s production company, over their newly established vaccination requirements.

ET's Rachel Smith visited the set ahead of the series premiere on May 26, during which Webb, West and Reid teased all the exciting things fans can expect in the second season. «We're doing big things, big style in Harlem, honey! We are taking things by the reins, we're being selfish and not apologizing for it and, might I add, we look fabulous doing it as well,» Webb proclaims.West adds that the cast's real-life friendship enhances their fictional bond, pointing out how close they've gotten while working on the show.

The actress Andrea Bordeaux says she was fired after she refused to get a COVID-19 vaccination for her Starz series Run The World.In an Instagram post from this weekend, the 34-year-old actress denied that she had chosen to leave the series, as was reported by Deadline on Friday, and instead claimed she had been kicked off the show.'Despite what the article says, I did not opt to leave the series and Lionsgate made no efforts to find a workable solution. I was fired,' she wrote in her lengthy caption.
