JAMAL Edwards hailed his mum Brenda as his "inspiration" in his final TV appearance with her. The 31-year-old tragically died yesterday after a sudden illness.

Jamal said: "It's a good feeling. I obviously watch her on the show, but it's good to be here and experience it in the flesh." He then opened up about how his mother influenced his career - and responded to claims Brenda experienced "working mum guilt". "My mum's work ethic inspired me," said Jamal.
