Dance the night away? Well, Olympic rowers Paul O’Donovan and Fintan McCarthy had a wild night – packing their suitcases. The Cork athletes won the lightweight double sculls on Thursday, taking the tenth gold medal in Ireland’s Olympic history.
Paul said his and Fintan’s celebrations weren’t as boisterous as you might have expected: ‘We just packed the suitcase and that type of thing,’ he told Newstalk.
