Ikea 'to reopen in 12 days' after shutting due to coronavirus, sources claim

Ikea could be set to re-open on May 18. Sources say the furniture giant is preparing to start trading today, according to the Mail.

The speculation comes after Ikea closed all 22 of its British stores during coronavirus pandemic. These stores have been closed since March 20 so shoppers haven’t been able to shop there for almost two months.

When asked about when stores are returning to service, Ikea refused to give a date. Despite this, a spokesperson told Daily Star Online that reopening plans are currently being considered.
