A brave woman who wrestled with drugs and alcohol for more than a decade has managed to turn her life in a glowing transformation.
Ainsley Loudoun, 28, said she lived in "utter darkness from a very young age" getting into trouble at 16 and narrowly avoiding jail.
After 12 years spent battling with her mental health, dependant on drugs and alcohol, she reached tipping point and began taking steps towards her recovery two years ago.
Her life has since been transformed, and her appearance too, thanks to her dedication to a 12-step programme that helped her get through each day, as reported in the Daily Record.
