Shaun White raises his helmet high after his final Olympic run on the halfpipe. The 35-year-old athlete had an amazing first two runs, which put him in 4th place at the end of the second run at the 2022 Beijing Games.
Unfortunately, Shaun did fall on his third run, which means he’s out of contention for a medal. Last weekend, Shaun announced that he’d be retiring from competition after these Olympic games, and this was his final competitive run ever.
While he didn’t medal at his final Olympics, Shaun has received a ton of support online from fans. “Rock on @shaunwhite.
What a ride it’s been. Wish it could have ended differently but you are the man. #Respect,” one fan wrote on Twitter. Click inside to see even more tweets from fans about Shaun White’s final run… Scroll down for even more!
