Tragic Lola Pearce got a special reunion with an EastEnders legend who returned for a final chat ahead of her heartbreaking death.

In Thursday's episode, viewers saw Patrick Trueman (played by Rudolph Walker) make an unexpected appearance on a video call as Lola enjoyed a mocked-up Ladies' Day at home.

Lola, played by Danielle Harold, has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and after doctors told her they were stopping treatment as attempts to remove it hadn't worked, she is facing death - with the devastating scenes due to air next week on the BBC One soap.

Despite the bleak outlook, Lola has been determined to make the most of her final days with her loved ones, and Jay, her family and friends have all been pitching in to create some special memories.
