Dave Cormack reveals growing Aberdeen frustration as Dons chief claims 'discrepancies' over Celtic test event snub

Dave Cormack has pleaded with the Scottish Government to reconsider rejecting Aberdeen's test event request. The Dons chief revealed on Sunday night the club's bid for a second fan return pilot for an upcoming clash with Celtic had been turned down by Holyrood officials.

Aberdeen staged a successful trial run for 300 supporters during September's Premiership win over Kilmarnock with Pittodrie running at just 1.5 per cent capacity.

But a bid to increase allocation to 10 per cent on October 25 has been thrown out, much to Cormack's frustration.He's been left bemused at alleged "discrepancies" in the Covid-19 guidelines which permit a limited variety of indoor activities, generally considered a higher transmission risk.Cormack has repeated.
