A dad battled in vain to save his son’s life at the roadside, after the 30-year-old stopped breathing in their car. Delivery driver Daniel Morris - who was known as ‘Mozza’ - had called his father to collect him from his friend’s house at 6.46am on Sunday, October 20.
Dad Christopher Morris arrived and found his son looking pale, an inquest held at Stoke’s civic centre heard. On their way to his home Daniel, a father-of-two, started to shake and struggled to breathe ‘like he was choking’.
Mr Morris senior attempted CPR before Daniel was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital by ambulance. Resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
