Rangers could see future European matches staged in host cities, as UEFA confirm that 'mini tournaments' could return in 2024.
The coronavirus pandemic meant that the 2019-20 Champions League final eight was played in Portugal, with clubs facing one-off games on neutral territory.
The Europa League, meanwhile, was held in Germany with Sevilla defeating Inter in Cologne to lift the trophy. The host cities have already been decided for the next two editions of both, but fans enjoyed the new format.
And if Rangers or Celtic advance to the quarter-finals of either competition in 2023-24 they could be involved in a similar mini-tournament.
