Body of young man pulled from water at Scots beauty spot as SNP MSP Aileen Campbell issues warning

Rescuers and emergency services frantically tried to find the 18-year-old and a helicopter was used to scour the surrounding area.But despite their best efforts, the teenager’s body was tragically pulled from the water on Friday.Police Scotland confirmed the tragic news and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is currently ongoing.
Chief Inspector Lex Baillie, Area Commander for South Lanarkshire, said: “I can confirm that the body of an 18-year-old man has been recovered from the water at Falls of Clyde in Lanark yesterday (Friday, 19 June, 2020).“His next of kin have been made.
