Police have launched an investigation after a 64-year-old man was assaulted at a popular beauty spot during the coronavirus lockdown.
For the last seven weeks, Scots have been advised to stay indoors, only go outside when essential, and to try and stay two metres away from others when outside.
But the victim was pushed to the ground after being approached by two men at Linlithgow Loch, next to the West Lothian town's palace.
Officers are now appealing for information about the incident, which happened at around 8.30pm on Monday, 4 May, 2020.The victim was uninjured during the assault, and police are trying to track down the man responsible.
