Dundee this morning to give a fairytale send-off for a youngster who drowned after getting into difficulty at a Perthshire beauty spot.Freya Skene passed away following a devastating freak accident by Ossian's Cave in Dunkeld on Monday, July 6.
Locals paid their respects and gathered in memory of the seven-year-old as her funeral procession stopped off at Clepington School, the primary school she attended, on Friday morning.Freya and her mum Brooke Reid, 26, had both been rescued from the River Braan after they were caught up in a current and despite frantic attempts to save Freya, she sadly died in hospital a short time later.Due to coronavirus restrictions, only 30 people were allowed to attend her funeral, but the wider community was.
