vandalism at one of Scotland’s most iconic beauty spots.Louts trashed patches of green space in Glencoe and trees were hacked down for firewood.Police were called to the area and are appealing for any witnesses who were in the Glen Etive area last weekend.Cops said road signage was also destroyed in the area and a quantity of fence posts surrounding nearby Loch Etive pier were removed from the ground, possibly to be used as kindling.A Police Scotland statement reads: “Officers in Glencoe are appealing for witnesses who have been in the Glen Etive area over the weekend beginning 10 July 2020."Over the course of this weekend some signage at the road end has been vandalised and a quantity of fence posts surrounding the Loch Etive pier removed.
