Mrs Brown's Boys and EastEnders appeared to have plummetted on Christmas Day as they trailed behind in television ratings.ITV's Coronation Street managed to secure 3.25 million viewers on the big day, meanwhile, Emmerdale was watched by 3 million people.Coming in at tenth place on the most viewed list was the EastEnders special which had an audience of 2.9 million.Popular sitcom Mrs Brown's Boys, starring Brendan O'Carroll, usually secures high audience figures but this year the programme failed to feature in the top ten list.Despite this, overall BBC One managed to secure eight of the top 10 programmes on Christmas Day - with ITV taking eighth and ninth place with episodes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale.Strictly Come Dancing's.
