That same day, Sweeney’s X (formerly known as Twitter) account was compromised and promoted a cryptocurrency.A copy of a Verizon receipt from July 2 was posted online and obtained by technology news site 404 Media.The image shows a person’s hand on a Verizon receipt next to an iPhone and its box on the trunk of a car.The receipt is for a $37.54 payment order completed on July 2.It reads, “Hi SYDNEY SWEENEY, Thank you for your order.”The Post has reached out to Sweeney’s reps for comment.A Verizon spokesperson, Rich Young, said in a statement to The Post that he could not “discuss a specific customer situation,” but added, “Verizon takes customer privacy and account security very seriously.
