Barcelona director Emili Rousaud has accused someone of getting “their hands in the till” at the Nou Camp, while the club have fired back with a stern legal warning.
The Spanish businessman worth more than a reported £175m was once handpicked by club president Josep Maria Bartomeu to be on the board at Barcelona.
But Rousaud was fired this week after making claims that an influential figure at the Nou Camp was benefitting financially off the club.
Another vice-president was also told to resign, as well as six other board members on Thursday evening. Referring to a vast amount of money president Josep Maria Bartomeu spent on social media, Rousaud made the accusation. “He broke up the payment in order to avoid control of the commission,”
