Rousaud has accused a high-ranking executive of "having their hand in the till" after being among six board members to resign on Thursday night, including another vice-president, Enrique Tombas.
They were joined by directors Silvio Elias and Josep Pont, all of whom had been encouraged to resign by Bartomeu, after criticising his handling of the club.
He had labelled them ‘disloyal’ but due to the club’s statutes he couldn’t fire them, but could demote them into much lower positions with no say in club affairs.
