Boris Johnson from entering Russia in response to the UK government's Ukraine war sanctions. Boris Johnson tops the Russian "stop" list of UK subjects no longer allowed to enter the Russian Federation, alongside Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss and others.Russia's foreign ministry said in a statement: "In connection with the unprecedented hostile actions of the British government, expressed, in particular, in the imposition of sanctions against top officials of the Russian Federation, a decision was made to include key members of the British government and a number of political figures in the Russian 'stop list'."Also in Vlad's bad books is Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and former Prime Minister Theresa May, who authorised sanctions after the Salisbury poison incident in 2018.Dominic Raab, Priti Patel and Ben Wallace are also listed on the no-fly list as Putin seeks to exercise his authority.

Since the war began, the UK government spearheaded by Boris Johnson has been incredibly critical of Putin's invasion and has offered arms support to Ukraine as well as sanctioning high profile Russians like Roman Abramovich.

There has been a sense for a while that it was only a matter of time before Johnson forced Putin's hand. Last month the Kremlin singled out the Prime Minister as the "most active" opponent of the war in Ukraine in a threatening message to the UK.Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who has himself been sanctioned by the UK, said: "As for Mr Johnson, we see him as the most active participant in the race to be anti-Russian.

It will lead to a foreign policy dead end."The Prime Minister would go on to refute the allegation that he was "anti-Russian" only "deeply hostile" to the war in Ukraine.Speaking at a press conference.
