His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Phillip Schofield couldn't help but make a cheeky dig at Prime Minister Boris Johnson while talking about forgiveness during the latest episode of This Morning.The 60-year-old presenter was back on our screens on Wednesday (April 20) to host the ITV daytime show alongside co-star Holly Willoughby.They kicked off the programme by telling viewers the latest topic of the phone-in segment with agony aunt Deidre Saunders.Phillip explained that they are looking for people to talk to Deidre about forgiveness and he went on to reference to Mr Johnson's recent apology after he got fined for breaking lockdown laws.Last week saw Mr Johnson become the first sitting Prime Minister to be sanctioned for breaking the law when he was fined by the Metropolitan Police, alongside his wife Carrie and Chancellor Rishi Sunak, over a birthday gathering for the PM in No 10 in June 2020.Most Tory MPs rallied behind the PM as he repeatedly apologised in the Commons for attending a birthday party, saying he did not think he was breaking the law at the time.Referring to Mr Johnson's apology, Phillip said: "Maybe Boris could call in."Holly said: "Yes Boris.

You give us a call."Phillip recently enjoyed an Easter trip away as he and Holly took a break from This Morning.Ahead of his and Holly's return on Tuesday (April 19), Phillip took to Instagram to share a glimpse at his time away with a series of snaps posed to his millions of Instagram followers."Ski gang 2022", he penned alongside a snap of himself wearing the iconic It's A Sin-inspired 'La' t-shirt while surrounded by several of his pals who all had headed on a snowy trip to the French Alps.
