Prince Harry is returning to the UK for a special event, but Meghan Markle is not expected to accompany him.The Duke of Sussex, 39, will attend the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral, on Wednesday 8 May, an Invictus Games representative has confirmed.The Invictus Games took to Instagram on Sunday, 28 April to confirm Harry's attendance at the event and impending trip to the UK.
Alongside a snap of the duke, they wrote the caption: "The Invictus Games Foundation will celebrate 10 years of changing lives and saving lives with a 'Service of Thanksgiving' at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8th.
We will be joined by our Patron, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, actor Damian Lewis and members of the worldwide Invictus Community to mark the occasion." The confirmation of his UK trip comes after days of speculation about whether he would be present at the service, which commemorates the 10th anniversary of the games that support injured military personnel.
It will be Harry's first visit to the UK since his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton shared the news that she is undergoing cancer treatment, following her surgery in January.
