This Morning’s Phillip Schofield stopped a guest in their tracks after they announced what they planned to cook for the hosts on the early morning show.Phil Vickery appeared in the cooking segment for the ITV show and introduced his dish, named “Phil’s Spiced Lamb Kebabs,” but was quickly cut off by presenter Phillip Schofield after he revealed the side dish he planned to serve.Phillip introduced Phil to the audience and said that he has a “delicious meal to start the week”.Phil began: “I’ve got some sort of kebabs here that we’re going to play around with, along with a dip which I had in a restaurant a couple of weeks ago.""Also, couscous!
A lot of people don’t like it, but if you get a lot of flavours into it -”Phillip cut off the celebrity chef: “Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
What did you just say? Couscous? It’s horrid, it should be packaging not food!”Schofield screwed up his face in disgust as he complained, while Holly noted: “It’s not as bad as polenta, you hate polenta.”Phillip then pulled another face and said that polenta is “even worse” than couscous, but Holly said that at least it’s “one-up” from polenta.Vickery tried to redeem his dish and said that the dish is dependent on “flavour control” while a more positive Phillip gushed that “if anyone could make it lovely” then it would be Vickery.
