Matt Baker in 'absolute agony' as he takes injections to manage secret health battle

Matt Baker has revealed that he has been getting injections to help with the pain from a secret health issue following an on-stage accident.The Countryfile and former Blue Peter star was a competitive gymnast before rising to fame, and would even compete during his school years. However, he has now suffered a painful back injury, leading to injections which help with the pain. Appearing on Gabby Logan's podcast Mid Point, Matt was asked if he could still do backflips because of his gymnast past, to which he shared his upset at not being able to.
