Union bosses have warned fresh bin strikes could hit Glasgow in the run up to Christmas. The GMB union have issued a statement on the possibility of more walk-outs by refuse collectors tonight as the current run of strikes are due to end at midnight.
Glasgow Live reports that staff will return to work tomorrow after eight days on strike, but they have asked for a fresh ballot, raising the possibility of further industrial action.
