Scott Anderton's body was found in the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in Leigh on March 25. Two boys - aged 16 and 17 - have gone on trial accused of the 33-year-old's murder.
Both deny the charge, although a third defendant, Liam Bailey, 18, admits murdering Mr Anderton. The three defendants are also accused of robbing Mr Anderton, which they all deny.
