Kate Middleton was once asked if she was Prince William’s “assistant” during a royal visit and gave a hilarious response.The future Queen proved she had a sense of humour during a visit to the Shire Hall Care Home in Cardiff in August 2020.

William, 39, and Kate, 40, paid a visit to the home in person after previously joining the residents virtually for a game of bingo during lockdown.

However, when the couple later visited in person, they got more than they bargained for when introduced to resident Joan Drew-Smith.
