Fans of the popular BBC drama Call The Midwife were left begging for a “happy ending” after watching Trixie Aylward's, played by Helen George, fairytale relationship begin to crumble. On the episode on Sunday, 25 February, viewers watched as her husband Matthew, played by Olly Rix, was caught in a web of lies after facing some serious money troubles which he struggled to keep hidden when bailiffs arrived at Nonnatus House to take his car away.
