The new series of the hit BBC period drama returned earlier this year, much to the delight of fans as we follow a group of midwives and doctors working in East End London during the late 1950s and 1960s.
Heroic and kind-hearted Dr Patrick Turner has become a much-loved character on the show who has been portrayed by Stephen for over a decade, having joined the cast when Call The Midwife launched in 2012.
It's worth noting that Stephen, aged 61, is also married to the creator of Call the Midwife, Heidi Thomas, reports Manchester Evening News.
