Former EastEnders actor Cliff Parisi has shared his thoughts on a possible return to the iconic drama as he declared "never say never".

The much-loved BBC One drama, Call the Midwife, returned last night for its 14th series.

Call the Midwife Daniel Laurie will be stepping back into his role as Reggie Jackson as the much-loved BBC period drama is gearing up to return with two festive specials, followed by the 14th series in the new year.

Another Christmas visit to Nonnatus House is on the horizon thanks to a festive special of Call the Midwife. Reggie Jackson has been winning hearts since he first turned up in Call The Midwife eight years ago. The role is beautifully played by actor Daniel Laurie, who joined the BBC One period drama through a heartbreaking storyline. His character's mum had a heart attack in a church, leaving Reggie alone at home, wondering where his dear mum had gone.

Time wasn’t on Queen MoJo’s side in the final challenge, after judge Gregg Wallace tasked the stars to create their favourite dinner party dish.
