CELEBRITY MasterChef fans are set to be left delighted following a surprise appearance from Dame Mary Berry at the semi-final stages of the competition.  Dame Mary will make her debut in the MasterChef kitchen in the episode broadcast on the 8th September where she will challenge the seven remaining stars to re-create one of her most popular dishes.  Mary will judge the celebrities alongside resident hosts, John Torode and Gregg Wallace, where they will have to master cooking with a host of unfamiliar ingredients and a variety of new techniques to impress the culinary trio.  Mary said: “I can’t wait to see these talented MasterChef semi-finalists bring my dishes to life and hopefully they are recipes they would enjoy making at home too.  They need to remember though that I’ve got eyes in the back of my head.
