Reggie Jackson has been winning hearts since he first turned up in Call The Midwife eight years ago. The role is beautifully played by actor Daniel Laurie, who joined the BBC One period drama through a heartbreaking storyline.
His character's mum had a heart attack in a church, leaving Reggie alone at home, wondering where his dear mum had gone. Luckily, his distant cousin Fred Buckle (played by Cliff Parisi) and his wife Violet (played by Annabelle Apsion) stepped in to look after Reggie as if he were their own son.
Because Reggie has Down's syndrome, he was given a permanent spot at the Glasshouse Trust, a care facility for young adults with disabilities.
But he often visits his family and friends in the East End and enjoys catching up with his mate Cyril Robinson (played by Zephryn Taitte).
