BBC EastEnders icon drops return hint 15 years after emotional soap exit

Former EastEnders actor Cliff Parisi has shared his thoughts on a possible return to the iconic drama as he declared "never say never".

The 64-year-old year was all smiles as he appeared on Thursday's edition of The One Show to discuss his role as Fred Buckle in Call The Midwife amongst other things.

But while talking to presenters Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, Cliff, who previously played Minty Peterson in EastEnders, gave an honest reply when asked if he would return to Albert Square after fifteen years.

Alex said: "We have to ask because we said we would, Cliff, would you ever return to EastEnders to play Minty?" Cliff replied: You know what, I loved playing Minty, I had such a ball and you know I've been watching the repeats, and I remember how much fun it was and what a laugh we had!" He added: "So never say never, that's all I'd say.
