Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson has announced a new role away from the cobbles, after confirming her exit from the ITV soap.The Celebs Go Dating star played Nicky Wheatley in Coronation Street, but revealed in an Instagram Q&A recently that her storyline had "now been completed."However, the star will be taking on a magical new role in the St Helens Theatre Royal Christmas Pantomime Cinderella later this year, in the leading role as the fairytale character.READ NEXT: Forgotten TV icon transformations - Lovejoy actor, The Good Life star and Bread hunkSpeaking about the role, she said in a statement: "I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the cast of Cinderella at St Helens Theatre Royal this Christmas."I have such fond and happy memories working in wardrobe behind-the-scenes on costume and set with Regal Entertainments, that it'll feel like a homecoming.
