Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson delighted fans on social media as she documented a well-earned night out on the town with hilarious consequences.

The 36 year old star, who is best known for playing sex worker turned teaching assistant Nicky Wheatley in the ITV soap, revealed the snaps while enjoying a boozy cruise with her friends last week.

In one of the amusing snaps, which indicated a messy night was ahead, Kimberly could be seen hunched over beside an elevator as she struggled to maintain her balance in a pair of blue denim stiletto boots.The star, who was dressed in an oversized sports jersey dress complete with statement heart earrings, shared the snap herself on Instagram, alongside the caption: "Imagine a world where people's phones just stopped working when you've had a drink…" Kimberly later went on to share another snap from her night out, which featured her lying down on the ground while she seemingly flashed her knickers to everyone around her!
