Coronation Street New Year spoilers see two familiar faces return to the cobbles and Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) causes relationship problems for a fan-favourite couple. Following on from their New Year’s Eve date, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) part ways on the cobbles not realising that Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) is back and keeping a watchful eye on both of them. As Sarah goes home, Adam heads for his office but ends up kidnapped and bundled into the back of a van.The following day, Damon strolls into the bistro and the police are called.
