Adam kidnapped and Damon returns to Coronation Street for Sarah in New Year spoilers

Following on from their New Year’s Eve date, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) part ways on the cobbles not realising that Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) is back and keeping a watchful eye on both of them.
As Sarah goes home, Adam heads for his office but ends up kidnapped and bundled into the back of a van.The following day, Damon strolls into the bistro and the police are called.
Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) arrives to question Damon about the kidnapping, but Sarah provides him with an alibi. Damon then offers a job to Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges), who's struggling after the revelation of his gambling addiction, to renovate a bar.
