Sony Pictures Classics has acquired rights in North America and China to mystery-comedy Wicked Little Letters from Studiocanal, for a 2024 theatrical release.

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Sony Pictures Classics has acquired North American rights to “Wicked Little Letters,” a stranger-than-fiction mystery comedy starring Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley. The movie, directed by “Me Before You” filmmaker Thea Sharrock, had its world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. “Wicked Little Letters” will debut in theaters sometime in 2024.

Destiny 2 has admitted that it has “lost a lot of [players] trust” after announcements about layoffs and a possible delay to the new expansion.“This has been one of the most difficult weeks in our studio’s history,” said Bungie in a post to its official website.On October 30, CEO Pete Parsons confirmed that there were losses at the developer, however neither the number nor the departments were specified. However, according to a report by Billboard, top music attorneys are saying that they have been seeing contracts that expand that timeframe up to 30 years.“The first time I saw it, I tried to get rid of it entirely,” Josh Karp, an attorney who saw the new restrictions in UMG contracts told the outlet.

Naman Ramachandran The ban by Indian regulator Securities and Exchange Board (SEBI) on Punit Goenka, MD-CEO of media giant Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) has been lifted after an appeal. In June, SEBI barred Goenka and ZEEL chair emeritus Subhash Chandra from holding management positions in listed companies while SEBI carried out investigations into allegations of insider trading and fund siphoning. Goenka appealed the order with India’s Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT).
