Ubisoft has officially announced the release details of the Beyond Good & Evil remaster, with the game coming next week.Beyond Good & Evil was originally launched in 2003 and now an anniversary edition will be released June 25. The new version of the action adventure game will feature improved graphics and “numerous quality of life improvements including autosave, cutscene-skip, full controller and keyboard & mouse support, and cross-save across all platforms”.The soundtrack has been re-recorded by an orchestra, while Ubisoft will also be introducing a new speed run mode to the game, alongside a number of new achievements to unlock.To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game, Beyond Good & Evil remaster will also include never-before-seen artworks and videos, exclusive anecdotes, and “secret unreleased content”.A digital version of the game will be available for PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles, as well as PC via Steam.

Arkane Austin has confirmed Redfall will receive one final update following the news that the studio has been shut down.Earlier this month, Arkane Austin was one of several studios shut down by Microsoft in a shock move, with the company wanting to “further invest in Bethesda’s portfolio of blockbuster games.”In the days that followed, it was reported that developers had been working on a new update for Redfall in the hours before the studio was closed, as well as the promised Hero DLC.
