2K has delisted four different WWE games and all their downloadable content (DLC) from Steam.It looks like WWE 2K17, 18, 19 and 20 have all been removed from Steam with no current explanation as to why, alongside all the major DLC for these games as well. Players can still access these games within their library, but they are no longer available to be bought directly from Steam itself (via PC Gamer).Steam Tracker indicates that these delistings took place on July 13, with a Reddit user spotting the removals yesterday (July 24).

Visual Concepts, the studio behind the NBA 2K games as well as WWE 2K titles, has revealed it’s making an AAA “open world driving game”.Following an update to their Twitter bio that now promises “a new AAA game that will blow your mind” Visual Concepts is also directing people to their recruitment page.One of the many listings is for a producer at Visual Concepts’ Foothill Ranch studio, with the company “looking for a seasoned producer to join our development efforts on an unannounced, open world driving game with a major licence.“This AAA title is targeted at multiple platforms. Within this role, you will be joining our production team which is responsible for overseeing the product development team in delivering high quality features while also helping to manage the overall project scope, quality, and schedule,” reads the job description.Love games? Take-Two‘s new earnings statement has revealed the existence of a cancelled unannounced project that caused a $53million (£39million) loss for the firm. It’s likely that the game was a multiplayer game featuring superheroes.The news has been pieced together by PCGamer and Bloomberg.

BioShock, the critically acclaimed shooter from 2K Games, might be receiving a remaster according to a new discovery on Reddit.As spotted by GamesRadar, Reddit users have uncovered that the SteamDb database entries for BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite have all received updates.This is an indication that some kind of new content or development for the Steam version of the games is currently taking place, although the extent to which work is happening is unclear.This isn’t the first time rumours of a BioShock remaster have emerged. Recently Nvidia suffered a massive leak of data, included in which was a list of games associated with their GeForce Now platform.

Marvel game Midnight Suns apparently took inspiration from an unlikely source – none other than Dragon Ball Fighter Z.During an interview with Edge Magazine (via The Loadout), the team behind the upcoming Marvel tactics game explained how anime has influenced its style.Describing Dragon Ball Fighter Z as a “big influence,” art director Denis Moellers said, “there are some moves where they [the camera] zoom out to show the entire planet and you can see this explosion going off.”He also explained how anime can “translate these amazing comic-book poses into animation”.

Bioshock fan has recreated the city of Rapture in Unreal Engine 5, showcasing what the game looks like with a modern engine.After recreating Bioshock in Unreal Engine 4 in 2014, YouTuber Noodlespagoodle has returned to Rapture with a three-and-a-half-minute video exploring the underwater city in Unreal Engine 5 (thanks, dsogaming).With a fan trailer titled ‘Bioshock: Evolution‘, Noodlespagoodle recreates the tension and beautiful aquatic scenery of the original game by completely rebuilding it in a “tribute to an iconic franchise”.The trailer features some famous characters from the series, including a Little Sister and a brief fight with a Big Daddy.

2K and Firaxis have revealed their upcoming Marvel game, Midnight Sons, with a trailer at Gamescom 2021.Marvel’s Midnight Sons is under development by Firaxis, who are best known for their XCOM series of games. The Marvel project had been rumoured for some time but has now been officially revealed.The game is based on the comics originally started in 1992 called midnight sons and features Marvel characters including Blade, Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange and Wolverine.

Take-Two has announced that 2K Games will reveal a new game this month, and Firaxis could be the team developing it.Take-Two president Karl Slatoff confirmed a new franchise in the earnings report, although he didn’t provide any details on which studio was working on the title. “Later this month, 2K will unveil details of another exciting new franchise planned for launch during this fiscal year,” stated Slatoff.Slatoff is likely referring to a game developed by Firaxis, the studio behind the Civilization and XCOM games.

2K Games is reportedly gearing up to release a turn-based Marvel game and a Borderlands spin-off.This is according to a leaked list which was first published on Reddit. The poster, who noted that his claims are “second-hand info[rmation]”, alleged that 2K currently has at least four unannounced games in development.

Borderlands developer Gearbox Software is apparently working on a new video game franchise, according to publisher Take-Two Interactive.The publisher’s president Karl Slatoff revealed details about the new franchise during an earnings call on May 18. The game is supposedly one of the 62 titles that Take-Two plans to release over the next four years, from “immersive core” titles to independent projects.“2K will also introduce two releases from new franchises this year, including one from Gearbox,” Slatoff said while discussing the company’s current fiscal year, which runs until March 31, 2022.

2K Games have released the first teaser trailer for WWE 2K22.The short teaser clip was unveiled during Night 1 of Wrestlemania 37 on April 10.
