2K Games: Last News

2K has delisted four different WWE games and all their downloadable content (DLC) from Steam.It looks like WWE 2K17, 18, 19 and 20 have all been removed from Steam with no current explanation as to why, alongside all the major DLC for these games as well. Players can still access these games within their library, but they are no longer available to be bought directly from Steam itself (via PC Gamer).Steam Tracker indicates that these delistings took place on July 13, with a Reddit user spotting the removals yesterday (July 24).

Gearbox Software has confirmed when Borderlands 4 will be released via a teaser trailer – check it out below.Last night (August 20) Gearbox and 2K Games used Gamescom Opening Night Live to officially reveal Borderlands 4, five years after Borderlands 3 first launched. Two spin-offs have been released since, New Tales From The Borderlands and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, but Borderlands 4 is the next mainline entry in the franchise.According to the official description of the game, “In this next instalment of the definitive looter shooter, players will assume the role of a legendary Vault Hunter as they blast their way through hordes of enemies in search of new treasures to loot on an all-new planet.”Borderlands 4 is due to release at some point in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, however a more specific launch date has yet to be announced.Last month, Gearbox boss Randy Pickford teased the Borderlands 4 announcement.

2K Games has confirmed it is set to reveal a sequel to a “beloved” franchise at Summer Games Fest, which takes place next month.Taking to social media, Summer Games Fest confirmed “2K plans to reveal the next iteration in one of 2K’s biggest and most beloved franchises” at the event, which is due to take place June 7.No other information about the reveal has been shared, but 2K has a number of games that could fit the brief.Earlier this year, 2K confirmed Borderlands 4 was in active development after acquiring Gearbox Studios for £365million. It comes as a big screen take on the franchise is set for release August 9.

Visual Concepts, the studio behind the NBA 2K games as well as WWE 2K titles, has revealed it’s making an AAA “open world driving game”.Following an update to their Twitter bio that now promises “a new AAA game that will blow your mind” Visual Concepts is also directing people to their recruitment page.One of the many listings is for a producer at Visual Concepts’ Foothill Ranch studio, with the company “looking for a seasoned producer to join our development efforts on an unannounced, open world driving game with a major licence.“This AAA title is targeted at multiple platforms. Within this role, you will be joining our production team which is responsible for overseeing the product development team in delivering high quality features while also helping to manage the overall project scope, quality, and schedule,” reads the job description.Love games?
