Forget Coachella, Billie Eilish to headline ‘Fortnite’ main stage

Billie Eilish announced that she’d be taking to Fortnite on its festival’s headline stage today (April 23).The ‘Ocean Eyes’ singer will be a playable character in Fortnite Festival, Fortnite‘s rhythm game that emulates the likes of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. We don’t know exactly what this collaboration will include, or which of the singer’s songs, but when previous artists took the virtual stage, players were able to play as them and play some of their top hits.Eilish will be headlining Fortnite Festival season three.

Fortnite may be introducing a new series of Jujutsu Kaisen skins as part of an upcoming event.Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga set in a world where negative emotions can manifest as Curses – a race of demonic entities bent on harming humanity. Twitch banned references to Dr Disrespect during his ‘Fortnite’ tournament
Dr Disrespect‘s Fortnite tournament, Twitch disallowed any reference to the streamer because he is banned from the platform.On May 27, Dr Disrespect, aka Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, hosted a $100,000 Fortnite event named Hot Shot Duo Drop, which featured several Twitch streamers such as Tfue, summit1g, and Zemie. And yes, Lightsabers and E-11 Blaster Rifles will return in this Cup!”“Competitors can play up to ten matches within their region’s three-hour time window, and the specific event timing for each region can currently be found in the Compete tab in-game.” Players will get 25 points for a victory royale, 22 for coming in second place all the way down to one point for being the first person out.At the end of the tournament, the top 1250 players in Europe will win the Obi-Wan Kenobi In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and Back Bling with other regions having their own leaderboards.
