Fortnite OG mode will become a permanent addition to the battle royale game from next month.Last November, Fortnite launched the nostalgia-inducing OG game mode, which featured a number of classic maps, characters and weapons from the first season.

The launch led to “the biggest day in Fortnite’s history” with over 44 million players logging on to play at the start of the month-long event.Fortnite OG was removed in December but is now set to make a permanent return. “OG is coming BACK and is here to stay,” read the surprise announcement. “Relive Battle Royale from the start and explore the OG map, collect OG loot, and relive OG seasons.” It’s rumoured that the first 10 seasons of Fortnite, which were released in 2017 and made up chapter one of the game, will be included as part of OG.THIS.
