Scotland’s latest super hospital will cost at least £350million to build and get under way within three years.Documents revealed the details despite health board leaders still not deciding on where to construct the new Monklands Hospital.NHS Lanarkshire has said it is considering three sites for the project but a disclosure shows officials are already looking for private companies to express an interest in taking on the contract.Listings published this month on the Public Contracts Scotland website said the hospital will cost £350million although the final bill is expected to be much higher.It also revealed work is expected to start in 2023.
