Eurovision host Malin Akerman might be a familiar face to some - and it's not surprising why. The actress is making her Eurovision debut as she co-hosts the Song Contest alongside presenter Petra Mede this year.
The pair will be front and centre as the world's largest live music event unfolds on Saturday, May 11 at Malmo Arena. Sweden is home to the 68th Song Contest on the 50-year anniversary of Abba's iconic victory with Waterloo.
It comes after Loreen stormed the leader board at last year's Liverpool competition with her song Tattoo. Petra has hosted Eurovision twice before, as well as fronting Sweden's talent search show Melodifestivalen.
And while Malin will be taking to the stage for the first time, she has an unlikely familial link to Eurovision.
