Author Neil Gaiman has issued a grovelling apology after it emerged that he had travelled 11,000 miles to his home on the Isle of Skye during the coronavirus lockdown.
The 59-year-old, who is best known for penning American Gods and Good Omens, was slammed for flying from New Zealand to the Scottish island to “isolate easily”.
Gaiman claimed that he and his wife Amanda needed to “give each other space” in a blog post published last week. He has now taken to his website once again where he has admitted that his actions had been the “most foolish thing” he had done in a while.
