A mum sparked outrage with her choice of Christmas breakfast which she claims is a "classic" meal to kick start festivities.
Posting on Mumsnet, the parent said her family begin Christmas Day by tucking into "traditional" fish finger sarnies. The mum said her "classic Xmas day breakfast was served up on doorstop bread with a dollop of ketchup and that wearing pyjamas was strictly forbidden.
But she faced backlash from horrified naysayers, with one asking "what kind of a monster eats fish finger sandwiches for breakfast?" Liverpool Echo reports.
The mum posted: "Aibu [Am I being unreasonable] or are fish finger sarnies a classic Xmas day breakfast? "Seemed to be traditional among the family.
