Queen Elizabeth II will be laid to rest in a funeral at Westminster Abbey, London.Out of respect for the passing of the UK’s longest reigning monarch, many shops and businesses will close down for the day to allow workers to mourn.There will also be a national Bank Holiday on Monday – with most theme parks, attractions and hotels also shut for the day. READ MORE: Heathrow Airport cancels flights 'out of respect' for Queen's coffin procession But, a few will still allow you to spend the day at the park with shorter periods of shut down.Check out the latest statements from theme parks in the UK below...Posting on Twitter, the North Yorkshire theme park and zoo stated: “As a mark of respect on Monday 19 September 2022 there will be a period of quiet reflection as we pause all of our rides and attractions from 10.45am to 12.30pm so that our holiday guests and team members can come together to show their respect and pay tribute during the Queen’s State Funeral.”This means ticket holders can still head to the theme park, but nothing will be working for just under two hours.The theme park and resort noted: “To mark the passing of Her Majesty The Queen and to allow our guests and employees to pay their respects, we will be closing the Resort on Monday 19 September.“Our Thorpe Shark Cabins will be closed on 18th and 19 September.”The adventure park in Ripon is flying its flags at half mast for the duration of the Queen’s 10 day mourning period, but no statement has been released about Monday September 19.Daily Star has contacted the park for clarification on their opening hours.
