MMA fight descends into huge brawl after dispute following fighter's disqualification
dailystar.co.ukConor McGregor were unsavoury, with the Russian icon going after the Irish fighter's team members after comfortably winning inside the cage, then it was nothing compared to this.Just as the victor was set to get his hand raised, hell broke loose, with the loser appearing to rip off his strapping and hurl it towards a coaching staff member at ringside.That prompted laughter and an exchange of words, but no-one was smiling seconds later as the fighter sprinted towards the ropes and exchanged blows with the individual, and then grappled with officials as they tried in vain to calm him down.As the ring announcer futilely pleaded for calm, things eventually seemed to momentarily simmer down before kicking off again, with the fighter throwing a second bit of strapping out of ring before a man in plain clothes dived through the ropes and the pair scrapped.In the meantime the winner, who initially had tried to drag his beaten opponent - and officials - away from the melee, had clearly had enough, and simply watched on from outside the ropes as the chaos continued.Anything wrong with a good old post-bout scrap?
