ITV pulls This Morning and Loose Women over 'security incident' with police presence near studios amid 'evacuation'

ITV's live shows This Morning and Loose Women have been suddenly pulled from air after a 'security incident' near its studios.

The issues on the network began just before 12.15pm when Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby had been presenting This Morning live.

However, after they returned from the break, the pair appeared in a pre-recorded segment until the show finished at 12.30. It comes amid a security alert by Wood Lane station in London, which is directly opposite the ITV show's Television Centre studios.

An update from Transport for London read: "White City and Wood Lane stations closed: While the police respond to a security alert outside the station." ITV has been contacted by the Manchester Evening News for comment.
